Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina and his wife visited earlier Thursday, the great pyramids of Giza, on the sidelines of their current visit to Egypt.
They were received by Director-General of the Giza Plateau Ashraf Mohy El-Den.
Moreover, they visited the Sphinx as well as the panorama area and took several pictures.
While touring the tourist site, Rajoelina expressed his admiration for the Sphinx sculpture, and its magnitude.
In addition, he noted that Giza pyramids are one of the most important places he has always wanted to visit.
Noteworthy, Madagascar head of state arrived last Sunday to support his country's team in the African Cup of Nations being hosted by Egypt.
