On Tuesday, France's President Emmanuel Macron, First Lady Brigitte Macron, and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad received Kylian Mbappe at the Elysee Palace.

The French president had a formal dinner reception to honor Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim in his first official visit to France since taking the throne.

PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi was invited.

Media reports highlighted that Macron brought the topic of Mbappe's departure from Paris Saint-Germain to the table.

Mbappe, who is known for having good relations with the French president, greeted Macron and shook his hands after arriving at the Palace for the dinner.

Macron told Mbappe: “You are going to create more problems for us."

Earlier, Spain's La Liga Director Javier Tebas said that he believes that Real Madrid will sign Kylian Mbappe, he told French outlet L'Equipe in an interview.

Tebas told L'Equipe: "Knowing that he is leaving PSG, there is a 99 percent chance that Mbappe will sign for Real. But I don't know if he has already signed."

Mbappe expressed several times before that his childhood dream was to play for the Royal club.

Tebas explained: "It's big news for Real and Spanish football. He is one of the best players in the world. From my point of view, (Jude) Bellingham, (Erling) Haaland, and Mbappe are the three dominant players on the planet, and two are already at Real Madrid."
