London Decorated with Banners, Photos of Tutankhamun

After breaking visitor record in Paris with more than 1.4 million visitors, the British people and the British capital of London celebrate the arrival of King Tutankhamun Exhibition, on its third stop.

The streets, main squares, metro and train stations in London were decorated with pictures of the young king's face and some of his belongings. Walls of shops, buildings and telephone booths were also decorated with banners of the young king and his exhibition.

King Tutankhamun exhibition includes 150 artifacts of the young king's belongings, as well as a statue, the king's fan, a number of pots and some other small statues.

Noteworthy, Tutankhamun “Pharaoh’s Treasures exhibition was inaugurated by the Egyptian Antiquities Minister and the French Culture Minister last March.

It was transferred to the British capital “London”, where it will be inaugurated in early November in its third stop after Los Angeles in USA, and Paris in France.
