Oscar-winning scribe Diablo Cody's horror comedy movie "Lisa Frankenstein" is hitting digital platforms less than a month after its theatrical debut.
It will be available on VOD on Tuesday, February 27. A physical release and streaming date are still to come.

Set in 1989, the movie follows an unpopular high school student who accidentally re-animated a handsome Victorian corpse during a lightning storm and starts to rebuild him into the man of her dreams.
The horror romance portrays an unpopular high school student falling for a young man, who just happens to be a handsome Victorian corpse. After horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two lovers embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness, and a few missing body parts along the way.
"Lisa Frankenstein" was helmed by Zelda Williams in her feature directorial debut and draws inspiration from the original Frankenstein story written by Mary Shelley.
The movie is produced by Mason Novick and Diablo Cody, who have previously collaborated on films including Tully, Young Adult, Jennifer’s Body, and Juno. Jeffrey Lampert executive produces.
Focus Features is distributing Lisa Frankenstein in the U.S., with Universal Pictures International handling distribution in the rest of the world.
"Lisa Frankenstein" hit theaters on February 9, just in time for Valentine’s Day. While it wasn’t a critical or financial hit, the pic has gained a sizable cult following that has embraced its quirky and delightfully carefree madness.
