Netflix has revealed the official trailer for Lindsay Lohan's upcoming romantic comedy “Irish Wish,” set to stream on March 15.
The movie marks Lohan’s second Netflix original following her 2022 holiday movie “Falling for Christmas.”
The film's official synopsis reads: “When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie (Lohan) puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. But as her dream gets closer to coming true, Maddie realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.”
The trailer showcases Maddie finding herself questioning what it is she truly wants as she gets to know a charismatic wedding photographer (Ed Speelers).
Shoot on location in Wicklow, Ireland, “Irish Wish” features plenty of scenic vistas that serve as the backdrop for Lohan’s latest rom-com.
“Irish Wish” also stars Alexander Vlahos, Jane Seymour, Elizabeth Tan, Ayesha Curry, and more. Lohan’s younger brother Dakota is also featured in the pic.
Janeen Damian is the director and Kirsten Hansen penned the script. Brad Krevoy and Michael Damian produce.
Lohan’s most recent Netflix rom-com was Janeen Damian’s “Falling for Christmas,” in which she starred opposite Chord Overstreet. Her next project in her creative partnership with Netflix is the holiday film “Our Little Secret,” in which she’ll star alongside Kristin Chenoweth and Ian Harding. The film is currently in production.
