Lily Collins and her husband Charlie McDowell welcomed their first child via surrogate.
The "Emily in Paris" actress, 35, and the film director, 41, shared the news on social media on Friday, January 31.
“Welcome to the center of our world Tove Jane McDowell,” Collins wrote in a joint Instagram announcement shared with her husband.
The new mom also shared a photo of the baby girl, lying bundled in a bassinet. A monogrammed blanket with her name written in gold was draped over the cradle.
“Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again,” she continued.
The “Emily in Paris” star’s surrogate gave birth earlier this week in Northern California.

The 35-year-old actress first sparked dating rumors with the director, 41, in July 2019 after meeting on set of his film, “Gilded Rage.”
“It was one of those situations where I knew the second I met him that I wanted to be his wife one day,” Collins later revealed on “Live with Kelly and Mark.” “So, it was just a matter of when, really.”
The pair, who regularly share their romance online, announced their engagement in October 2020.

McDowell — who is the son of actress Mary Steenburgen and actor Malcolm McDowell — popped the question with a unique “rose-cut” diamond — which was stolen in May 2023.
The couple tied the knot in September 2021 in a woodsy wedding in Colorado.
"I've never wanted to be someone's someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife," she captioned a photo of the couple kissing at the altar. "On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other's forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…"
McDowell also shared the news on Instagram, writing, "I married the most generous, thoughtful, and beautiful person I've ever known. I love you @lilyjcollins."
"I'm so excited to be your WIFEY," Collins commented on his post.
Although the pair rarely discussed their family plans, McDowell teased their hope to expand their brood in October 2024.
“We would like to,” he told E! News when asked about adding a baby to the mix. “We would like to move into that next stage, so we’ll see when it happens!”
However, the actor failed to mention that it was already in the works.
