A new trailer for Disney/Pixar sci-fi action movie “Lightyear” has been released on Monday.
The movie sees the beloved toy astronaut Buzz Lightyear, from the “Toy Story” franchise as the central protagonist.
The footage mainly contains old footage showing the various stages of Buzz’s new intergalactic mission.

The voice cast includes Chris Evans, Peter Sohn, Keke Palmer, Dale Soules, Taika Waititi, Uzo Aduba, James Brolin, Mary McDonald-Lewis, Efren Ramirez, and Isiah Whitlock Jr. MacLane.
The movie is directed by Angus MacLane and written by Pete Docter.
The new installment was first announced back in 2020 and will serve as the first spin-off and prequel in the franchise.
The Toy Story franchise consists of four movies: “Toy Story” (1995), “Toy Story 2” (1999), “Toy Story 3” (2010), and “Toy Story 4” (2019).
“Lightyear” premieres in theaters on June 17.
