A delegation that includes members of the Supreme Council of State of Libya has arrived in Cairo to discuss with the Egyptian side the activation of the political solution, the emphasis on a ceasefire, and the Egyptian role in resolving the crisis.
The Libyan delegation, which arrived in Cairo from Misurata, includes members of the Supreme Council of State, also known as the High State Council, and Fayez al-Sarraj's advisor for national security.
The delegation is scheduled to meet in Cairo with a number of Egyptian officials to discuss developments in the Libyan file.
This comes as Arab foreign ministers prepare to hold their meeting, within hours, to discuss a number of issues, most notably the Turkish and Iranian interventions in the internal affairs of Arab countries and developments in the situation in the oil-rich country.
An Egyptian diplomatic source revealed that the meetings come as an affirmation of the Arab constants, which must be taken into account in resolving the Libyan crisis.
On the other hand, the correspondent of Sky News Arabia in Morocco stated that the Libyan dialogue sessions in Bouznika ended, on Tuesday, and will resume next Thursday.
The representative of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Ahmed Khalifa Najm, said that the political dialogue is proceeding in a positive and constructive manner, adding, "Everyone hopes to achieve good and tangible results that will pave the way for the completion of the comprehensive political settlement process in all parts of Libya.”
"Important understandings have been achieved, including setting clear standards aimed at eliminating corruption and ending the state of institutional pision," he explained.
