Sources close to the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) said that LPDF`s members will hold a new round of talks on the fifth of next January, according to the 218TV website.
The sources told 218TV that the members of the LPDF will return to meet in a new round, early next month, to discuss several points of contention.
Lst November, Acting Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) Stephanie Williams launched the first round of LPDF in Tunisia instead of Switzerland for logistical reasons.
In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in order to protect the health of the participants, the LPDF was held according to a hybrid formula, through a series of virtual sessions as well as face-to-face meetings.
Notably, Libya`s rivals exchanged prisoners on Monday for the second time in 1 week as part of a cease-fire agreement they inked two months ago in Geneva.
The exchange of the second batch of prisoners was supervised by a joint military committee. It took place in the southwestern village of al-Shwayrif.
According to Libyan media sources, 5 members of the Libyan National Army (LNA) were released, in exchange for one from the Government of National Accord (GNA).
