Today marks the birth anniversary of the late Haitham Ahmed Zaki, who lost his mother actress Hala Fouad at a young age.

On his special day, a number of celebs of Arab cinema as well as the Television industry have taken to social media and shared emotional posts in his remembrance.

The young talented actor passed away in the early hours of Nov. 7, 2019, at the age of 35 due to a sudden drop in blood circulation.

Zaki comes from Egypt's Showbiz royalty. His father is legendary actor Ahmed Zaki, who appeared in nearly 130 roles — including more than 100 films, most notably Al-Darga Al-Thalitha (The 3rd Class), Dreams of Hind and Camilia, Escape, Those Guy, One Woman Is Not Enough, and Kaboria.

Two years ago, the Egyptian talented star was found dead at his home in Giza province. Zaki made his debut in the Showpaz with the film ‘Halim’ and went on to do roles such as "Clown" (Elbelyatsho) and so on.

Early investigations by Egyptian Police concluded that he died, however, later three big agencies of the Arab world Arabia and BBC Arabic got involved in the case.

A lot was said and a lot was done but the fact remains the same -- the industry lost one of its gems too soon!

His co-star Ahmed Flawks recalled how Zaki was always there for him whenever he needed any help.

"Whenever I needed help, advice or a laugh you were always there," Flawks, who featured opposite Zaki in 'Elbelyatsho', wrote on his social media platform.

The late star is well known for his seminal works, such as "Al Sabaa Wasaya (2014), Kalabsh (2018), Alamet Estefham (2019), Kaf Alqamar 2011, Dawaran Shobra (2011), Sukkar Mor (2015), The Treasure (2017), and The Treasure 2 (2019).

Zaki is a receptionist of the Best Egyptian Male Actor award for his performance in the 2011 film Dawaran Shobra.
