Lebleba Joins TV Series "The 101 Battalion"

Veteran Egyptian actress, Lebleba has joined the cast of the TV series "The 101 Battalion".

It also stars Amr Youssef, Asser Yassin, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Khaled El Sawy, Ahmed Salah Hosny, Wafaa Amer, and others.

The series consists of 30 episodes depicting the heroics of Battalion 101 and how they confronted the takfiri elements in Sinai.

"The 101 Battalion" is scripted by Eyad Saleh, directed by Mohamed Salama, and produced by the Synergy production company.

Principal photography is underway.

"The 101 Battalion" is set to screen in the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.

Lebleba participated last Ramadan with the TV series “Dayman Amer”, starring Mostafa Shaban.

It also starred Myrna Noureldin, Amr Abdul Gelil, Nedal El Shafey, Salah Abdallah, Mohamed Tharwat, Karim Afifi, Cynthia Khalifeh, and others.

Filmmaker Magdy El Hawary directed the series from a script by Ayman Selim and Michael Adel.

Ninochka Manoug Kupelian, better known by her stage name Lebleba, entered the artistic field as a 5-year-old girl. Her artistic repertoire consists of more than 88 films and 8 TV hits.

She is best known for her songs and monologues, where she excelled in providing celebrity imitations, which reached 268 songs in total, including 30 children.

Lebleba has received the Best Actress Award several times in different festivals and film events. She also participated as a jury member in 6 international festivals and 16 Arab festivals.
