Lebanon Receives More Aid from Egypt

Under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Egypt has airlifted more emergency aid to the brotherly people of Lebanon to help them overcome the latest crisis.

Two military planes, loaded with large quantities of food aid, headed to Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport. Egyptian Food Bank and Albrwaltkwa association both made contributions to the 9th batch of emergency aid Egypt has delivered to Lebanon.

Lebanese officials expressed their thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by Egypt and stressed that they hold Egypt in high regard, given the close historical relations between both countries. They also stressed that the efforts Egypt makes reflect the spirit of fraternity between Egypt and Lebanon. They praised the active role played by the Egyptian government and people to help the Lebanese people deal with the effects of the Beirut blast.
