Lebanese media professional and author Amal Wajih Nasser has released a new short story collection titled When the Face of Day Changes, adding a fresh literary work to her growing body of fiction and poetry.
The collection explores human and social transformations through stories centered on love identity women and everyday struggles written in a concise poetic narrative style. The book marks Nasser’s second short story collection following Forbidden Love and reflects her continued engagement with human emotion and social reality.
Nasser is a Beirut based journalist poet and novelist who studied Arabic language and literature at the Lebanese University. She holds several cultural and media positions including head of the Port Forum for Culture and Arts and editor in chief of Arrar News Agency for Culture and Media.
Her publications include the novel Truth of a Man several poetry collections and the feature film Zaman Aziz which screened in Malmö Sweden.
