The United States remained No. 1 in the latest FIBA World Ranking for boys after completing an undefeated 2025 summer highlighted by two youth international titles.
The Americans pulled away in the second half to defeat Germany in the final of the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup and earlier won the FIBA U16 AmeriCup with a victory over Canada, extending their dominance ahead of second-ranked Spain.
The biggest change in the top tier saw Italy rise to No. 3, overtaking France. Italy followed a strong 2024 by finishing third at the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2025 and fourth at the U16 EuroBasket.
France is followed by Serbia and Lithuania, which climbed to sixth after a runner-up finish at the U16 EuroBasket. Türkiye, Australia, Germany and Canada complete the top 10.
Among notable movers, Bahrain made the largest jump, rising 38 places to 56th after finishing eighth at the FIBA U16 Asia Cup.
