Lebanese Cargo's Crew Rescued near Alexandria Port

The authority of Alexandria Port succeeded in rescuing a Lebanese cargo crew after the ship sank nearby the port, media agencies reported on Saturday.

Alexandria Port Authority received a call of help from "Ella" cargo that was carrying three tons and 900 kgs of iron junk.

The teams of rescue and concerned authorities moved to the location of the cargo. The 98-meter high ship was bent, and it started to sink.

The rescue teams succeeded to rescue the crew of the ship which consisted of nine Syrian members and an Indian man.

Shortly, authorities highlighted that this ship was coming from Lebanon to Alexandria, and it was immediately sinking after it bent.
