The 8th edition of the Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards (DIAFA), held annually in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was held on Wednesday night, amid the attendees of distinguished personalities from various fields and different nationalities.

Presented by Shine Entertainment, DIAFA is one of the most prominent events in the Arab world. The high-end and prestigious Red Carpet and Awards Ceremony aims at honoring distinguished personalities, entities, and companies, both regionally and globally, in recognition of their achievements and contributions towards committees and society’s betterment.

Each year’s honorees are chosen by a qualified committee formed of 25 journalists and media entities from the Arab region and the World, selected from various fields such as music, arts, culture, economy, business, entrepreneurship, journalism, success stories, humanitarian services, and others.

The attendees were also treated to Tunisian superstar Latifa performing a track from the album "Ya Layali", who won the Best Album Award for the album "Mafesh Mamnoua".

The album was released on June 26 and consisted of 10 songs, including 7 filmed as video clips with artificial intelligence (AI) technology, in an innovative step in the music scene.

In the album, Latifa cooperated with a large number of poets and composers, including Mahmoud Anwar, Omar El-Masry, Samer Abo Taleb, and Walid Saad.

"Mafesh Mamnoo" also featured a collaboration between the acclaimed singer and Iraqi superstar Kadim Al Sahir.

In her speech, Latifa expressed her great happiness with the honor and stressed that the album's success would not have been complete without the support of the fans and the team behind the record.

"This honor is a great motivation to continue to provide the best," she said.

Latifa also celebrated the honoring with her fans on Instagram, saying: "I am very proud and very happy with the award of the Best Album Award for the album 2024 #Mafesh _Mamnoua. Thanks to all the makers of the album, poets, composers, distributors, and all my work team. Thanks to the fans,".

She also dedicated the award to her late mother, who she described to be "With me in every moment while preparing for the album."

The accolade places Latifa once again at the forefront of the music scene and confirms her position as an artist who presents works characterized by innovation and distinction.
