Latifa Releases Music Video "Malhooqa"

Tunisian superstar, Latifa dropped Wednesday the music video for the song "Malhooqa" on Youtube.

It is by the lyrics of Amr Elmasry and composed by Samer Abo Taleb.

The music video is directed by Sherif Tarhini and arrives from Latifa's 2018 album "Fresh".

The acclaimed singer released the album during the emergence of the Coronavirus.

"The album "Fresh" was released during the coronavirus crisis and was affected by the pandemic. I decided to film its songs and began with the song 'Malhooqa'," Latifa said in a statement.

The superstar also noted she will shot the songs of the 2019's album "Aqwa Wahda".

"I will soon film the songs "Aqwa Wahda" and "Ana Esht Omry" because it was good songs and the audience should watch them as music videos," Latifa added.

"Every good song made with effort needs to be shot and seen because this is what remains in the audience's memory".

On the other hand, Latifa is set to perform live at the Mohamed Abdo Theatre, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, December 31.

She will present several of her popular and latest songs.

The event marks Latifa's first concert at the Riyadh season.

Latifa, born on February 14, 1961, in Manouba, Tunisia. She is considered one of the Arab World's most talented singers.

The superstar got her chance after composer Mohamed Abdel Wahab heard her on the radio.

At the time, she primarily performed long Tarab songs but was interested in doing something new, so she began to work with composer Ammar El Sherei and poet Abdulwahab Mohamed, whom she met during her first visit to Egypt.
