Lana Del Rey has finally dropped a full version of “Henry, Come On,” the first glimpse of her upcoming 10th studio album, “The Right Person Will Stay,” slated for May 21.
The singer-songwriter first announced the single in January 2024 with an audio excerpt posted on Instagram.
On Thursday, Del Rey reshared the album’s artwork — a picture of her in a lacy white dress with the title, “Henry, Come On,” in the upper left-hand corner — without a caption.
She did tag collaborators Luke Laird, Drew Erickson and Dean Reid, as well as photographer Neil Krug, makeup artist Tyron Machhausen and hair stylist Anna Cofone.
“The Right Person Will Stay” was announced last November with Del Rey writing on Instagram: “So grateful that my 13 tracks came together with my beautiful work between Luke, Jack, Zach and Drew Erickson amongst others. Happy for you to hear a few songs coming up before Stagecoach starting with Henry. Love Always.”
Shwe will perform at Stagecoach on April 25 before embarking on summer dates throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Del Rey was previously expected to release a country album titled “Lasso,” but that concept appears to have shifted at least a little over time.
She told Vogue Italia, “originally, me and the label were excited because the energy of the music of the album was meant to reflect my new life. Now, I’m not so sure, but I’m usually pretty good with my own timing. I might turn it into something more ‘Southern gothic,’ like it was meant to be from the start, and less country.”
