Lady Gaga Joins MTV Awards 2025 Lineup with Record-Breaking Nominations

Global superstar Lady Gaga has officially joined the star-studded lineup of performers at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2025, set to take place on September 7. 

This year, Gaga leads the nominations with an impressive 12 nods, recognizing her hit singles “Die With a Smile” and “Abracadabra”, along with her latest album “Mayhem”.

Bruno Mars follows closely with 11 nominations, while Kendrick Lamar picked up 10.

Rising pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter and BLACKPINK’s Rosé each earned eight, with Ariana Grande and The Weeknd trailing just behind with seven nominations apiece.

The opening show will also feature performances from Sabrina Carpenter, Post Malone, Somber, Doja Cat, Conan Gray, Alex Warren, DJ Snake, Jelly Roll, J Balvin, and Tate McRae, making it one of the most anticipated music events of the year.
