Lady Gaga Is Teasing That She's Working on "Telephone" Continuation

It has been nearly 16 years since Lady Gaga and Beyoncé joined hands for a Thelma & Louise-style getaway in their “Telephone” collaboration, with the music video ending with the message, “To be continued…” Now, the story is continuing.

Gaga sat down with Vanity Fair for the publication’s popular Iie detector test segment, where the pop superstar was asked if “Telephone” is getting a second part. “Yes,” she confirmed, though she didn’t know when it would arrive. When asked if Bey would be joining her again, Gaga coyly responded, “Maybe.”

Beyoncé first teased the next “Telephone” era last year. In her first Cowboy Carter teaser during the 2024 Super Bowl, Queen Bey is seen driving a taxi through a barren landscape.

Fans seem to have connected the taxi and the landscape to the music video for Beyoncé and Gaga’s “Telephone,” in which Bey bails Gaga out of prison and the duo drive around in a red-and-yellow truck called the “p—- wagon.”

Gaga also didn’t clarify if the song will appear on her upcoming eighth studio album, "Mayhem", which is set to arrive on March 7.

The project will feature previously released singles “Abracadabra,” “Disease,” and her Grammy Award-winning Bruno Mars collaboration, “Die With a Smile.”
