Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars presented a special duet of The Mamas & The Papas’ "California Dreamin" at the Crypto.com Arena at the 67th Grammy Awards in honor of those impacted by the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.
At least 25 people died in the Southern California wildfires that broke out this month and caused immeasurable destruction, with more than 105,000 receiving mandatory evacuation orders.
The Grammy Awards telecast helped raise additional funds to support Los Angeles wildfire recovery efforts.
Beyoncé led the nominations with 11 categories, followed by Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone and Charli XCX at seven each, and Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan with six apiece.
Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doechii, Raye, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, Teddy Swims, Brad Paisley, Brittany Howard, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Cynthia Erivo, Herbie Hancock, Jacob Collier, Janelle Monáe, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Sheryl Crow, St. Vincent and Stevie Wonder were also a part of the Grammy performance lineup.
The awards show featured a series of special performances during the In Memoriam segment, a salute to the life and legacy of Quincy Jones, and tributes celebrating the spirit of the city of Los Angeles.
Hosted by Trevor Noah, the 2025 Grammy Awards aired live from L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, February 2 at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
Additionally, at 3:30 pm ET/12:30 pm PT was the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony, in which the majority of Grammy winners across 80 categories were announced. Hosted by Grammy nominee Justin Tranter, the ceremony streamed live from Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on live.Grammy.com and YouTube. The show also helps raise additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts.
