Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah officially received on Tuesday, the resignation of government members, in light of the current developments in the relationship between the National Assembly and the government, and what is required by the national interest.

The Kuwaiti Prime Minister received the resignation of the government, from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah during their meeting at Seif Palace.

Kuwaiti National Assembly Representative Thamer Al-Sweit announced during the session last Tuesday that he, accompanied by MPs Khaled Al-Otaibi and Badr Al-Dhahoum, presented an interrogation to Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, while 38 deputies declared their support for the interrogation.

The interrogation, which is the first for the new elected parliament included three axes. It included, according to the interrogation document, the blatant violation of the provisions of the constitution when forming the government, not taking into account the elements and trends of the new parliament, and the domination of the executive authority over the composition of the parliament.

That, in addition to the breach with the constitutional commitment in Article 98 of the constitution, by delaying the presentation of the government's work program.
