Patrick J. Adams is the latest addition to the upcoming Yellowstone contemporary spinoff series.
The "Suits" star is expected to join Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell in the Taylor Sheridan project, at one point titled 2024.
Pfeiffer and Russell have both been in talks for months, with their names first tied to the series in February and June, respectively.
MTV Entertainment Studios produces the series with 101 Studios. There have been no official details on the premise of the spinoff beyond the original logline of the Yellowstone franchise continuing the exploration of the Dutton family dynasty past and present with new locations and characters, as well as some crossover characters.
According to TVLine, the offshoot is reportedly follows a wealthy matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family as they leave New York City and head to Montana in the wake of her husband and brother-in-law’s tragic deaths in a plane crash.
Principal photography on the new series is slated to begin later this month for a 2025 premiere.
It will follow the final episodes of the mothership Yellowstone series, which will debut November 10.
