Kit Harington is the latest addition to the cast of Hulu‘s upcoming limited series adaptation of the Sophie Stava novel “Count My Lies.”
Harington will join previously announced stars Lindsay Lohan and Shailene Woodley. He has been cast in the role of Jay Lockhart.
The logline for the series states, “When compulsive liar Sloane Caraway (Woodley) fibs her way into a nanny position for the gorgeous and charismatic Violet (Lohan) and Jay Lockhart (Harington), it seems she’s finally landed her dream job. But little does Sloane know, she’s just entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode — with potentially catastrophic consequences for all.”
Harington currently stars in the hit HBO financial drama “Industry,” which is launching its fourth season on January 11.
He also recently guest starred in the Netflix series “Too Much” from Lena Dunham and will be seen in the BBC One/MGM+ miniseries version of “A Tale of Two Cities” in 2026.
Harington is best known for his role as Jon Snow in the megahit HBO series “Game of Thrones,” on which he starred throughout the show’s eight-season run.
In film, he was just in the Apple film “The Family Plan 2” and has starred in other features such as “Eternals” and “The Death & Life of John F. Donovan.”
“Count My Lies” is being adapted for the screen by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who will also executive produce via The Walk-Up Company.
Lohan and Woodley will executive produce in addition to starring. Antonio Campos is attached to direct and executive produce.
Scott Morgan of The Walk-Up Company executive produces as well, with Stava producing. 20th Television is the studio.
