On Tuesday, Prime President Dr. Mostafa Madbouly inspected the latest archaeological and engineering preparations at the new building of King Khufu’s ship at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) before it from the Pyramids area to the museum.
Madbouly pointed out that the first trial of transporting the ship without deconstructing it by using an advanced smart vehicle. The Belgian-advanced cart was purchased for the process of transporting the ship after securing it.
It is worthy mentioning that customizing the ship for its moving has started including setting up a metal securing body for the ship, and installing tracks for the cart. In addition, the ship was moved to its place by the vehicle.
