Dogstar—the rock trio of guitarist and vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Rob Mailhouse, and bassist Keanu Reeves—is releasing its first album in 23 years and has dropped its lead single “Everything Turns Around” with an accompanying music video.

The band confirmed that the title of their new album is "Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees".

“We are so excited to announce our new album Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees out on October 6th on our label Dillon Street Records. A very limited quantity of signed vinyl is available in the Official Shop – act quick!” read a post shared on their official Instagram account.

Dogstar has also announced a tour winding through North America and Japan that launches in August.

"Next month, we kick off our 25+ date headline tour in North America & Japan. Get tickets this Friday at 10am local time. VIP packages available."

In May, Dogstar reunited at the 2023 BottleRock Napa Valley festival for their first show since 2002.

The band performed again on July 18 at West Hollywood’s Roxy Theatre. Of their upcoming trek, Dogstar added: “When creating this record, we were so excited about the idea of playing it live so we are thrilled to finally announce the Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees Tour and to soon play for our fans all over North America and Japan.”

Dogstar formed in the early 1990s and released two albums—1996’s Our Little Visionary and 2000’s Happy Ending—before breaking up. The new album is out on October 6 via the band’s own Dillon Street Records.
