Egyptian actor Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and talented director Peter Mimi have found their next collaboration in the TV series "Mamlakat Al Harir."
The drama is a fantasy genre consisting of 10 episodes and featuring Mahmoud Gharib and Ahmed Ghazy.
"Mamlakat Al Harir" is set to screen on the Watch it platform during the off-season.
The project marks the fifth collaboration between the duo after films "Mousa", "For Zeko", "Shalaby", and "Beit El Ruby".
Abdel Aziz was last seen in season 2 of the horror-comedy TV series “El Bait Baity”.
Season 2 features series regulars Mostafa Khater, Samy Maghawry, Mirna Gamil, Soliman Eid, and young star Mohamed Saber. It will also introduce new faces such as veteran Egyptian actor Ahmed Bedier.
Khaled Marei directed the comedy-horror series from a script by Ahmed Abdel Wahab and Karim Sami.
Season one of “El Bait Baity” debuted on the "Shahid" streaming platform in May 2022 and was renewed for a second season in June.
“El Bait Baity” returned for season 2 on the "Shahid" on April 25.
It starred Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Mostafa Khater, Samy Maghawry, Mirna Gamil, Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Mai Elkady, Soliman Eid, young star Mohamed Saber, and more.
The 10-episode series marked the first collaboration between Abdel Aziz and Khater.
Season one follows Bino, a reckless youth being forced to return from life in a coastal town to Cairo following the death of his father’s mansion. On the night he moves to the property, he discovers that what he inherits exposes him and a taxi driver to the spookiest adventures in their life.
In season season, Bino and Karakiri accept an invitation to a hotel, taking them on another terrifying journey filled with supernatural encounters unlike anything they have ever witnessed.
