Egyptian actor, Karim Fahmy and Jordanian actress/producer Saba Mubarak will return to reprise their beloved roles in season sixth of the TV series "Hekayat Banat".
On October 2, Fahmy teased his fans on Instagram with a new mysterious project with Mubarak and TV producer Tarek El Ganainy.
The photo sparked speculations about the upcoming project and whether it was linked to season one of "Hekayat Banat".

In a statement, El Ganainy confirmed that there are preparations for two upcoming works, the first of which is preparation for the continuation of the story of Ahlam and Aasim from "Hekayat Banat", which is one of the stories dear to the fans.
As for the second project, he noted Fahmy and Mubarak are teaming up for a project that is completely different from "Hekayat Banat".
“Hekayat Banat” premiered in 2012 and spanned five seasons with different leading female actresses, depicting the stories of four women and their romantic relationships, private lives, dreams, and aspirations.
The first season starred Mubarak as Ahlam, Horeya Farghaly as Camellia, Dina El Sherbiny as Salma, and Reham Ayman as Maryam.
In 2017, the series returned for its second season without Farghaly and Ayman. It also featured two new faces Injy Al Moqaddem as Khadija and Nada Moussa as Malak. The cast remained on the show until season 3.
The fourth season of “Hekayat Banat” returned in April with a new cast starring Myrna Noureldin as Nour, Hend Abdelhalim as Jida, Hager Ahmed as Aisha, and Asmaa Galal as Gamila.
In 2020, the series returned for its fifth season with the main cast as well as introduced newcomers Ahmed Karara, Hazem Ihab, Khaled Mansour, Laila Hussein, Mohamed Ibrahim, and more.
