Palestinian theater actor and director Kamel El Basha finished filming the Egyptian short film "Qabl Mansa" (Before I Forget).
The cast also includes Lashina Lashin, Mai Reda, Gamal Youssef, and Mohamed Shabayek.

The film is written and directed by Ahmed Essam, who is currently in the editing process.

In a statement, the film's producer Ahmed Rashwan dished about working with El Basha for the first time, noting the actor was enthusiastic about the experience and plays an important role in supporting independent cinema as well as supporting young directors in Egypt and the Arab world.

Born on March 14, 1962, El Basha starred in a variety of films and TV productions in the Arab world and the globe.
His roles in Egyptian TV series and film productions include the 2022 TV series "Room 207" and the 2020 film "Curfew".
El Basha also won the 2017 Volpi Cup for Best Actor during the 74th Venice International Film Festival for his role as Yasser Abdallah Salameh in the movie “Case No. 23” aka "The Insult" by the Lebanese film director Ziad Doueiri.
