Justin and Hailey Bieber Expecting First Child

Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber announced Thursday that they are expecting their first child.

The “Love Yourself” singer, 30, and Rhode founder, 27, shared the news via Instagram Thursday after renewing their vows in Hawaii.

The couple posted photos of Justin photographing Hailey and showing off her baby bump in a field.

The photoshoot was part of their vow renewals and shows Hailey wearing a Saint Laurent dress by Anthony Vaccarello. 

The couple’s combined 343 million Instagram followers shot up millions of likes on the snaps within minutes. The comments were filled with congratulatory messages from their famous friends including Kendall Jenner, Chrissy Teigen, Tate McRae, and many more.

The couple first met at a “Today Show” event back in 2009, and they began dating from 2015-2016 before temporarily breaking up. In 2018, they were back together and got engaged within weeks on July 7, 2018.

They announced they were married just months later on November 28, 2017, and had a civil engagement in New York. A year later, they had an official wedding ceremony at the Montage Palmetto Bluff Hotel in South Carolina with their friends and family for a more traditional wedding ceremony and star-studded party on September 30, 2019.

“[Motherhood] is something that I look forward to,” Hailey told GQ in October amid circulated rumors that she is pregnant. 

She added, “It’s also such a private, intimate thing. It’s something that’s going to come when it comes. And it’s just, honestly, at the end of the day, so hilarious how much people f–king care. Let me do what I want to do with my body and you guys can do what you want to do with your body—and let’s just let it be that.”

The “Yummy” crooner celebrated the duo’s fifth wedding anniversary in September 2023 with an Instagram post in which he sang the model’s praises as one half of his heart.

“To the most precious, my beloved. 5 years. You have captivated my heart. I know from the depths of my soul down to my bones that this journey with you will only exceed our wildest expectations,” wrote the singer next to a snap of the couple kissing, along with several more happy pics of them holding hands and cheesing for the camera.

Hailey, the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, has modeled for dozens of high-end fashion brands and founded a skincare brand called Rhode in 2022.

She previously spoke to GQ about dating a world-famous pop star and the public scrutiny that comes with it.

“Recently, everybody was like, ‘Oh, my God, she’s pregnant,’ and that’s happened to me multiple times before,” she told GQ. “There is something that’s disheartening about, damn, I can’t be bloated one time and not be pregnant? It would be a lie if I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, I don’t give a shit.’”
