Syrian actress, Jumana Murad will star alongside veteran Egyptian actor Yehia El-Fakharany in the TV adaptation of Ibrahim Abdel Meguim's novel "Eatabat Al Bahga".
It is scripted by Medhat El Adl, directed by Magdy Abu Emeira, and produced by El Adl Group.
"Eatabat Al Bahga" consists of 15 episodes and is set to screen during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
The series witnesses the veteran actor's comeback to the drama marathon after two years of absence. He made his last participation in the marathon with the 2021 TV series “Nagib Zahi Zarkash”.
Murad participated last in the drama marathon with the TV series “Omla Nadra”.
It also starred Nelly Karim, Jamal Suleiman, Kamal Abu Raya, Ahmed Eid, Farida Saif Al-Nasr, Nada Moussa, Mohamed Lotfy, Mariam El Khosht, Mohamed Fahim, Ramzy Al-Adl, and Hisham Ashour.
Mohamed El Adl, known as Mando, is directing the series from a script by Medhat El Adl. The series saw Karim embodying a woman from Upper Egypt for the first time who is prevented from inheriting.
Murad, born on April 1, 1973, earned her degree from the University of Damascus.
She made her TV debut in 1998 when she began acting in television dramas. Murad worked on eighteen TV shows for the next decade, until she made her film debut in “El Shayateen” (Devils) in 2007.
The actress has co-starred in over thirty productions, including “El Farah” (The Wedding) in 2009. Murad also owns her own production company, Jumana International.
