The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts extremely hot and humid weather across most parts of the country during Saturday's daytime hours.

Hot and humid conditions are also expected along the northern coasts, while the weather will be warm and humid during the early morning and at night across most regions.

The EMA noted that high humidity levels will make temperatures feel 1 to 3 degrees Celsius higher than the actual readings in the shade.

Light to moderate mist, which may become dense in some areas, is expected between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on roads across northern Egypt, Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.

Winds ranging between 30 and 45 km/h are expected to blow intermittently across most parts of the country. They may stir up sand and dust over parts of the New Valley Governorate.

Along parts of the Mediterranean coast, including Marsa Matruh, El Alamein, Alexandria, Baltim, and Port Said, wind activity will cause wave heights to range between 1.5 and 2 meters.

The authority also forecasts a slight chance of low clouds developing over parts of the northern coasts, the Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, and the Canal Cities, with the possibility of light, non-impactful drizzle in isolated areas.

The expected maximum and "feels like" temperatures are as follows:

Greater Cairo: 36°C (feels like 38°C)

Nile Delta: 35°C (feels like 37°C)

Northwestern Coast: 31°C (feels like 34°C)

Northeastern Coast: 32°C (feels like 35°C)

North Upper Egypt: 38°C (feels like 40°C)

South Upper Egypt: 42°C (feels like 43°C)
