The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts hot and humid weather across most parts of the country on Wednesday, with extremely hot conditions expected over southern Upper Egypt.

Warm and humid weather is expected during the early morning hours, while mild to warm and humid conditions will prevail at night across most regions.

The EMA expects light mist to form between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. over northern Egypt, Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.

The authority also forecasts a slight chance of low clouds developing over parts of the northern coasts, the Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, and the Canal Cities, with isolated light drizzle possible in some areas. The rainfall is expected to be light and non-impactful.

Intermittent winds with speeds ranging between 30 and 35 km/h are expected across most parts of the country, helping moderate nighttime temperatures.

The expected maximum and "feels like" temperatures are as follows:

Greater Cairo: 35°C (feels like 37°C)

Nile Delta: 34°C (feels like 36°C)

Northwestern Coast: 30°C (feels like 34°C)

Northeastern Coast: 32°C (feels like 36°C)

North Upper Egypt: 36°C (feels like 38°C)

South Upper Egypt: 42°C (feels like 43°C)
