English actor Jude Law is set to star in the Disney+ series "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew".
The series was developed by the latest Spider-Man trilogy director Jon Watts and writer Christopher Ford.
The announcement was made at Star Wars Celebration which also saw Watts' series, which was operating code-named "Grammar Rodeo" given the official title"Star Wars: Skeleton Crew".
The series is set in the New Republic era and revolves around kids lost in the Star Wars galaxy trying to find their way back home.
"Star Wars: Skeleton Crew" is slated to shoot this summer with Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni executive producing.
The series is scheduled to be released in 2023 on Disney+.

Star Wars is the latest big-name franchise that Law is embracing. He has been playing Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter prequel series," Fantastic Beasts".
The third installment in the franchise of "The Secrets of Dumbledore" was released earlier this spring.
