The Journalists Syndicate decided on Saturday to refer the media advisor to the Tourism and Antiquities Minister, to its investigation committee over recent accusations.
The Council referred the complaints lodged against one of the members to the Settlements Committee, provided that Mahmoud Kamel and Ayman Abdel Majeed (the Council members) undertake reconciliation between colleagues. If the settlement fails, the complaint will be referred to the Investigation Committee.
On other hand, the Council authorized Diaa Rashwan, the Journalists Syndicate head, to complete the measures needed to resolve the crisis with the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry in a manner that preserves the profession dignity, the union and its colleagues.
