Josh Brolin has joined the all-star cast of Netflix’s "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery".

Brolin join new cast members Challengers’ Josh O’Connor, Civil War actress Cailee Spaeny, Ripley star Andrew Scott, Scandal alum Kerry Washington, screen and stage veteran Glenn Close, Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner, and Mila Kunis, who starred in thriller Luckiest Girl Alive for Netflix.

Daniel Craig is set to return as world-renowned detective Benoit Blanc and Rian Johnson back as director.

Johnson penned the script and will produce through his T-Street along with producing partner Ram Bergman.

Plot details are unknown, but Johnson promises the third installment in the murder mystery franchise will be Blanc’s “most dangerous case yet.”

The first installment, released in 2019 by Lionsgate, followed Benoit Blanc as he attempts to figure out who killed the renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey, who died on the night of his 85th birthday.

The most recent pic, Glass Onion, bowed in 2022, takes Blanc to an entirely new case where a tech billionaire invites his closest friends to a private island for a murder mystery game.

The pic premiered on Netflix after the streamer made a record-setting $450 million deal for the two sequels, with this being the third in the franchise.

It is heading toward an early June production start in the UK with Netflix planning to release sometime in 2025.

Brolin has become a familiar face in the franchise world in recent years, becoming well known for playing the finger-snapping Marvel villain Thanos in the last two Avengers movies. He also starred in Deadpool 2 as Cable and appeared opposite Timothée Chalamet in the Dune movies.

He also starred in the two gritty Sicario crime thrillers.

Brolin can currently be seen starring in the second season of Prime Video’s sci-fi Western series Outer Range, on which he also serves as an executive producer and director.

The actor is presently in production on Weapons, filmmaker Zach Cregger’s follow-up to his acclaimed horror movie Barbarian.
