The Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs at the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs announced that, in joint efforts with the Jordanian Armed Forces, 9 Jordanian doctors and nurses were evacuated today, Tuesday, from Gaza to the Kingdom.
The Ministry's official spokesman, Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al-Qudah, explained that the doctors were working at the European Hospital in Gaza as part of a medical campaign organized under the umbrella of the Palestinian American Medical Association (PAMA) and the Jordanian American Physicians Association (JAPA).
Al-Qudah added, in a statement, that assistance was also provided in the evacuation of doctors of other nationalities, stressing that the Ministry, in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces, continues the evacuation operations for Jordanian citizens residing and present in Gaza, and provides them with all forms of assistance to ensure their security and safety, and secure their return to the Kingdom. As soon as possible.
