Johnny Depp Reveals Truth About How His Fingertip Got Severed

"Pirates of the Caribbean" star Johnny Depp and his former wife Amber Heard has been engaged in battle courts since 2016.

Depp filed a $50 million lawsuit against Heard in March 2019 alleging that her abuse allegations were false and saying they had cost him money and career opportunities.

Heard, in turn, accused him of drugs and alcohol abuse, roughing her up and screaming at her, along with other claims of abuse, which she allegedly suffered throughout their 15-month marriage and four-year relationship.

Unearthed New video

Depp revealed in exclusive video footage, obtained by DailyMail.com., how his severed finger was sliced off, which he lost its tip back in March 2015.

The newly unearthed deposition video is from Depp‘s lawsuit against his former lawyer, who Depp says that he improperly collected millions of dollars in fees.

He joked that his severed finger gushed like "Vesuvius" after it was sliced off amid a spine-chilling fight with his former wife.

The incident was brought up in the lawsuit because the lawyer had prepared a postnup agreement that Heard was allegedly asked to sign the night before the fight.

Depp revealed in the footage that he lied about his injury to protect his wife at the time, who he had married one month prior to the incident.

He that lied about it being caught in the door in these huge accordion doors at this house, which was not the case at all.

"She smashed, she threw a vodka bottle at me and my, my hand was resting on the marble of the bar like that.” he revealed.

He revealed that two bottles were thrown at him, the first went whoosh past his ear, while the second one, which was a larger bottle, she threw from a distance and got smashed into the bar.

Depp continued: "this finger who I now call little Richard, was, the tip of the finger was severed and all the bone in here was completely shattered,”.

He pointed out that the finger looked like a Vesuvius, then he got infections and ended up with MRSA twice.

"I was trying to just get the finger back, and then deal with the insanity of having had my finger chopped off by this woman that I was married to,” added Depp.

Heard claimed previously that the"Pirates of the Caribbean" star had a bad temper that night and accused her of cheating on him with Billy Bob Thornton, and later dipped the injured finger in paint and wrote: “Billy Bob” and “Easy Amber” on a mirror, which is a claim he disputed.

Depp pointed out that his ex-wife allegedly claimed that he injured his finger by punching a wall, and retaliated that he would like to see the reactions from physicians,  who are familiar with this sort of trauma, as well as would love to see her explain how someone hits a wall and if they put their fist through it, its drywall or something.

In February 2020, abuse allegations have emerged supported by a verified recording of Heard admitting to having hit Depp. The newly released audio seems to authenticate Depp’s claims of being in an abusive marriage with Heard.

The recording was of a discussion between the pair as they had a fight that got physical.
