Johnny Depp completely transformed into Ebenezer Scrooge in new pics of the actor filming “Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol.”
Depp, 62, was photographed on set in London, looking noticeably more wrinkled to play the grouchy miser in the latest adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic.

Depp, donning a hat that covered his ears, rocked long grey sideburns and patchy facial hair. His eyebrows were also bushier and matched the shade of his hair.
The three-time Oscar-nominee appeared to be shivering due to the cold temperatures, wearing a long blue and black brocade coat appropriate for the Victorian period the film is set.
He was filming scenes with his co-star Andrea Riseborough, who’s playing the Ghost of Christmas Past.

Directed by Ti West, “Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol” also stars Sam Claflin, Ian McKellen, Daisy Ridley and Rupert Grint.
The film, which is a darker, more gothic horror take on Dickens’ story, is set to be released on November 13.
The project marks Depp’s comeback to big-budget Hollywood films after winning his defamation case against wife Amber Heard in 2022.

Depp sued Heard, 39, for $50 million in February 2019 for defaming him in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed about abuse.
After Heard lost the defamation trial, she was ordered to pay Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages. She was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages for her counterclaim.
In December 2022, the two settled the case, with Heard agreeing to pay Depp $1 million.
