Johnny Depp and Jeff Bridges are attached to star in British filmmaker and comedian Terry Gilliam's latest project "The Carnival at the End of Days".
Gilliam has in the past directed films such as "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", "12 Monkeys", and "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas".
Speaking to French publication Premiere, the filmmaker revealed that the pic will star Depp as Satan and Bridges as God.
Adam Driver and Jason Momoa have also been cast in the movie, though details surrounding their roles are currently unknown.
"The Carnival at the End of Days" is a comedy that features the only one trying to save humanity from doom is Satan as he "Needs people in hell, otherwise he won’t have a job for eternity!".
Gilliam explained that the movie “will be very funny for those who like to be offended”. Principal photography is expected to begin in January 2025.
This isn’t the first time that Gilliam and Depp have worked together. Depp previously starred in Gilliam’s"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" and "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus". Bridges has also appeared in Gilliam’s "The Fisher King".
