"John Wick" Video Game in Works

A “John Wick” video game is in the works from Saber Interactive and Lionsgate, with star Keanu Reeves reprising his role for the single-player third-person action title.

Described as a AAA video game “tailored for mature audiences,” the production is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC with “John Wick” film franchise director Chad Stahelski and Reeves involved.

It will combine John Wick’s “unparalleled, adrenaline-fueled ‘gun-fu’ fighting style with Saber’s proven reputation for creating thrilling gaming experiences that leave players craving more.”

The game will feature an “original gameplay narrative set in the ‘John Wick’ timeline years before the Impossible Task and expand on the franchise’s lore during that time with familiar characters fans already know and love, as well as compelling new ones created specifically for this production.”

It will deliver the signature style and unique elements fans expect from a John Wick mission, including a hard-hitting gun-fu combat system, jaw-dropping camerawork, intense driving experiences, cinematic storytelling, and a bold range of atmospherically immersive environments, all crafted to make players feel like they are in a John Wick movie, playing the role of the Baba Yaga himself.
