New footage for the highly-anticipated fourth instalment of the Keanu Reeves-led John Wick franchise.

In the upcoming instalment, the sharp-suited assassin will also be making his way through the criminal underworld in Berlin, Paris, Japan, and then back to the franchise’s home base of New York City.

The footage sees Bill Skarsgård hunting down Reeves in The Continental.

Skarsgård plays The Marquis de Gramont, a member of the High Table whose position is challenged by our favourite assassin.

The clip was full of meaningful scenes such as the sand clock, with which the sand of time runs out for Wick, and at the start of the clip, the viewers also see him paying respect possibly to the grave of his deceased wife, among other things.

"John Wick 4" will see the return of Laurence Fishburne as The Bowery King, Ian McShane as Winston, and Lance Reddick as Charon.

The cast will also include Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, Rina Sawayama, Hiroyuki Sanada, Scott Adkins, and Clancy Brown.

It will also feature British singer Rina Sawayama making her feature debut.

Chad Stahelski is returning to direct, who co-helmed the first instalment with David Leitch before flying solo on the second and third movies.

The movie is produced by Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, with Reeves and Louise Rosner serving as executive producers.

The runtime for the fourth instalment would be 119 minutes, or 1 hour and 59 minutes, making the movie the shortest released by Marvel Studios since "Ant-Man and the Wasp", which ran for 118 minutes upon its release in 2018.

Moreover, there is a number of John Wick spin-offs also in development, including the TV series "The Continental" starring Mel Gibson and Colin Woodell, which will depict the origins of the hotel-for-assassins.

Cuban-Spanish actress Ana de Armas was also recently cast to play the lead role in the spin-off movie "Ballerina", centring around a young female assassin out for revenge against those who killed her family.

"John Wick: Chapter 4" premieres in theatres on March 24, 2023.
