The fourth installment of the Keanu Reeves-led John Wick franchise is hitting digital platforms after its March theatrical release.
The highest-grossing entry will be released on digital storefronts on May 23 and will be available in Blu-ray combo pack, 4K Ultra HD combo pack, and DVD & on-demand on June 13.
"John Wick 4" featured the sharp-suited assassin making his way through the criminal underworld in Berlin, Paris, Japan, and then back to the franchise’s home base of New York City.
The movie also features Bill Skarsgård playing The Marquis de Gramont, a member of the High Table whose position is challenged by our favorite assassin.
"John Wick 4" features the return of Laurence Fishburne as The Bowery King, Ian McShane as Winston, and the late Lance Reddick as Charon.
The cast will also include Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, Rina Sawayama, Hiroyuki Sanada, Scott Adkins, and Clancy Brown.
It will also features British singer Rina Sawayama making her feature debut.
Chad Stahelski returned to direct after co-helming the first installment with David Leitch before flying solo on the second and third movies.
The movie is produced by Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, with Reeves and Louise Rosner serving as executive producers.
The runtime for the fourth installment would clock in at 2 hours and 49 minutes with credits, making it the longest in the franchise. In 2014, John Wick premiered at 101 minutes, with the sequels "John Wick: Chapter 2" and "John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum" clocking in at 122 and 131 minutes, respectively.
Moreover, there is a number of John Wick spin-offs also in development, including the TV series "The Continental" starring Mel Gibson and Colin Woodell, which will depict the origins of the hotel-for-assassins.
Cuban-Spanish actress Ana de Armas also plays the lead role in the spin-off movie "Ballerina", centering around a young female assassin out for revenge against those who killed her family.
