Phoenix previously collaborated with Scott on 2000’s mega-hit “Gladiator”.

“Napoleon” is an Apple Studios production that was made in conjunction with Scott Free Productions.

Scott and Phoenix produced the movie alongside Kevin Walsh and Mark Huffam. Michael Pruss and Aidan Elliott served as executive producers.

The runtime for the historical epic movie will clock in at 157 minutes and 43 seconds. The historical epic will open in cinemas exclusively on November 22 before streaming globally on Apple TV+ on an undetermined date. Sony Pictures will partner with Apple on the theatrical rollout.

Apple has been moving more aggressively into the theatrical space as it looks to bolster its streaming service by raising the profile of its movies.

The company is backing “Killers of the Flower Moon”, the Henry Cavill spy thriller “Argylle”, as well as “Ghosted”, a romantic action-adventure movie starring Chris Evans and Ana de Armas.
