Ahmed Issa, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, concluded his current visit to the Spanish capital Madrid, by holding a series of professional meetings with officials, owners, and managers of some Spanish airlines, including Iberia, Iberia Express, and Edelweiss.
The meetings were attended by Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs and Minister's Office Affairs, Yemeni Al-Bahr, and Muhammad Mohsen, the Egyptian Tourist Office Attaché in London and the Administrative and Financial Supervisor of the Tourist Offices in France, China, and the countries under its supervision.
The meetings discussed ways to enhance cooperation to attract more air traffic and travel to Egypt from different countries around the world, and from the Spanish market in particular.
They also discussed ways to benefit from the extensive network of these companies and their presence in many countries around the world to attract more tourist traffic from these countries to Egypt.
During the meetings, Issa briefed airline officials on the latest developments in the tourism industry in Egypt, and the outlines of the plans and strategies being worked on in the coming period to boost tourist traffic to Egypt.
