The Israeli military has announced a limited call-up of reserve forces, according to a breaking report by Al Qahera News.
Earlier on Monday, the Israeli military stated that it had detected missiles launched from Iran toward Israel and confirmed that its air defence systems had been activated to intercept the incoming threats.
Al Qahera News reported that air raid sirens were heard in Jerusalem, Beersheba, and the Negev region following the detection of the missiles. The report also indicated that a large explosion was heard in Jerusalem, followed by a series of additional blasts, with preliminary information pointing to five consecutive explosions.
The broadcaster further reported that a second wave of Iranian missiles was launched toward Israel, prompting a heightened state of alert and the intensive deployment of air defence systems to intercept the projectiles.
