Israeli Army Launches Urgent Appeal to Gaza Residents

Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraei sent a message to the residents of Gaza.

He said, “Urgent residents of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army is working forcefully against Hamas. The following are several urgent instructions: To the residents of Bureij camp and the neighborhoods of Badr, North Coast, Al-Nuzha, Al-Zahra, Al-Buraq, Al-Basma, Al-Bawadi, Al-Rawda, and Al-Safa in the areas. South of Wadi Gaza, in blocks 2315-2317, 660-662, 664, 666, 2210, 2220-2225, 2230, for your safety...you must move immediately to the shelters in Deir Al-Balah.”

He added: "There will be a local and temporary tactical suspension of military activities for humanitarian purposes in the Al-Salam neighborhood in Deir Al-Balah from 10:00 in the morning until 2:00 p.m., for supply."

"The fighting and military advance of the Defense Army in the Khan Yunis area do not allow the movement of civilians through the Salah al-Din axis in the sections north and east of the city of Khan Yunis. The Salah al-Din axis in these sections constitutes a battlefield, so it is dangerous to reach it!”

He continued,: "It will allow humanitarian movement of civilians through the bypass axis located west of Khan Yunis. Movement in both directions from the Rafah and Khan Yunis areas towards Deir al-Balah and the Central camps will be made possible through the following axes: Al-Rashid Street (Al-Bahr) - Al-Shuhadaa Street in Deir Al-Balah."

The Israeli army statement concluded: “We remind you that we have published a map of the areas (blocks) that divide the territory of the Gaza Strip into areas and neighborhoods that you know, to help you understand and realize the directives issued and to move from specific locations precisely if necessary, to preserve your security and safety.”
