Lebanese journalist Elie Bassil sparked widespread controversy over the porce of singer Nancy Ajram from husband Fadi Al-Hashem.
Bassil posted a photo of Ajram on his Twitter account with the caption, “Blame without leaving, we will certainly reach an agreement. If it’s not for us, then there is something between us that may become lost.”
Later on, ET Bel Arabi published an audio clip that belongs to Al-Hashem, in which he denies the news, affirming that Nancy is a treasure to him. He also mentioned that he was not aware of the porce rumors, noting that he was on his way home.

Moreover, Gigi Lamara, the singer's business manager, denied the rumors and confirmed that she is with her husband at the present time.
Lamara described the porce rumors as "nasty and baseless". He explained that such rumors are spread to distract the public from Nancy's music, calling her fans to focus on her work and the music she made.
