"Interview with the Vampire" Season 3 Gets Premiere Date

AMC has set the premiere for Anne Rice’s "Interview With the Vampire" season 3, renamed "The Vampire Lestat," for Sunday, June 7.

The show was renamed in honor of the book title on which the season is based.

In addition to the premiere date, the network has released the opening credits for the new season, which features a new song from the upcoming season, "All Fall Down," by series composer Daniel Hart and performed by star Sam Reid. The show previously dropped single "Long Face" on Feb. 13 (though a lyric video was posted to YouTube in July 2024).

In the upcoming rock and roll-centric season, Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) living the rockstar life, as vampires have been outed by author Daniel Molloy (Eric Bobosian) in his book that interviews Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson). Lestat takes full advantage of his newfound freedom and embarks on a multi-city tour while being haunted by “muses” from his past.

"As his band’s popularity and star power rises," says the show's official description, "so does Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population."

In addition to Reid, Anderson, and Bogosian, "The Vampire Lestat" stars Assad Zaman, Delainey Hayles and Jennifer Ehle.

The series is executive produced by Mark Johnson, creator, writer and showrunner Rolin Jones, Hannah Moscovitch, along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice.
