American actor-director Patrick Wilson shared an update about the fifth installment in the Insidious franchise.
In a statement, Wilson revealed that the movie was moving forward and is set to begin filming in Spring.
The fifth installment takes place 10 years after the original movie.
The movie has been written by Scott Teems, who recently co-wrote Halloween Kills, from an idea from franchise co-creator Leigh Whannell.
The fifth installment was first announced in late 2020.
The Insidious franchise launched in 2010 and was the first collaboration between director James Wan, Whannell, and the horror-loving Blumhouse.
